STEAM Karnival
STEAM Karnival 2025 stands as a landmark celebration in India’s educational and cultural landscape, recognised as the largest student confluence in CBSE history. Conceived as a four-day cultural and learning festival, the Karnival brings together the spirit of art, education, and youthful creativity under one grand vision—celebrating learning beyond classrooms.
Presented by the Confederation of Kerala Sahodaya Complexes as part of the CBSE State Kalotsavam – 2025, and hosted by Labour India Public School, Marangattupilly, STEAM Karnival unfolds from November 12 to 15, 2025 in the heart of Kerala. It is a gathering of extraordinary scale and energy, uniting 10,000+ student performers from over 1,700 schools, spanning 14 districts and 30 Sahodayas, witnessed by an audience of more than 30,000 visitors.
Set in Marangattupilly – the Knowledge City of Kerala, the festival transforms the Labour India campus into a living canvas of creativity. Across 35 vibrant stages and 140 diverse cultural events, students express themselves through dance, music, drama, visual arts, literature, and performance—creating over one million minutes of artistic expression across four unforgettable days. From classical and folk traditions to contemporary and fusion forms, the Karnival reflects Kerala’s rich cultural heritage while embracing the imagination of a new generation.
At its core, STEAM Karnival is not merely a competition—it is a celebration of unity, collaboration, and co-creation. Every performance becomes an offering, every stage a space of shared joy, and every participant a storyteller of culture, creativity, and learning. The festival echoes the philosophy that education is as much about emotional, creative, and cultural growth as it is about academic excellence.
The 2025 theme, “Imagineering Education in the Era of Artificial Intelligence,” brings a contemporary lens to this celebration.
